Hey. I’m Maslin.
Founder of Donatuz.
Builder. Operator. Chaos manager. Closet romantic. Front-end pixel snob.
I’m 27. South Indian. Tamil blood, startup brain.
Currently based online — which is just a fancy way of saying I work across time zones, barely sleep, and rely on prayer and Post-it notes to stay sane.
The quick origin story
Didn’t grow up rich.
Didn’t go to an Ivy.
Didn’t sell a company at 19.
But I did grow up watching people I love get crushed by money problems, and that sticks.
So I started learning. I got into Web3.
I worked at Terraform Labs and NEAR — helped ship things, watched some burn (hello Luna), saw how the sausage was made.
Eventually realized:
“If you want to do it right, you might have to do it yourself.”
So I started Donatuz — a platform for creators to actually own their content, their income, and their audience.
Think Patreon meets Web3, but without adult content, bad UI, or a million hidden fees.
It’s real infra, real tools, and a lot of late nights.
A few things you should know about me
- I pray like a monk and work like a maniac.
- If your UI is ugly, I will silently judge you. And possibly refactor it.
- I write like I talk — direct, slightly unfiltered, occasionally too honest.
- I'm allergic to fluff — in marketing, in code, and in people.
The work-life situation
There’s no “work-life balance” here.
It’s more like:
- Wake up. Pray. Build.
- Break things. Rebuild.
- Fight fires. Answer DMs.
- Have a minor identity crisis.
- Ship something. Feel better.
- Repeat.
Most days, I’m doing 10 jobs.
Founder, designer, product manager, therapist, QA engineer, sometimes customer support (hi yes, the button works, please try refreshing).
Why this site exists
Not for ego. Not for SEO.
Just needed a clean space to drop thoughts, share updates, and say things I can’t on LinkedIn without someone asking if I’m “okay.”
This is my corner of the internet. No noise. No filters.
Just me — building, reflecting, occasionally ranting, and still figuring things out.
If you’re here because
- You’re a creator: try Donatuz. It’s built for you.
- You’re a VC: don’t worry, I know how to pitch without sounding like a Medium article.
- You’re building something weird: let’s talk.
- You’re just curious: stay. There’s more coming.
No newsletter. No clickbait funnel.
If you want to reach me, you’ll figure it out.
Thanks for being here.

Sometimes all four at once.
